So hypoglycemia is usually when we don't have enough sugar in the blood. And the sugar is important to make our different organs function well, like the muscles, the heart, and particularly the brain. So when the sugar comes to be too low, the brain senses that and tries to make sure that the sugar will go back up. And one of the things that does, it asked the body to secrete stress hormones that will make the sugar go up.

Le diabète est une maladie chronique ou le sucre dans le sang est trop élevé. Le sucre va être trop élevé s’il n’y a pas de transporteur pour amener le sucre du vaisseau sanguin aux cellules du corps humain. Cette hormone, ce transporteur s’appelle l’insuline. Il est sécrété par le pancréas. Il y a deux types généralement plus communs du diabète: le type 1 lorsque le pancréas ne fonctionne plus, à ce moment-là, il n’y a plus d’insuline pour transporter le sucre des vaisseaux sanguins vers les cellules et dans le type 2, il y a encore une sécrétion insulinique, mais celle-ci n’est pas suffisante pour amener le sucre d’une façon parfaite aux cellules de notre corps humain.
