Dr. Henry Docherty Bio

Dr. Henry Docherty graduated in Medicine from Glasgow University in 1981 and has practiced in Canada since 1984, and in Kelowna since 1988. He is a Member and Fellow of the College of Family Practice of Canada and serves on their Community of Practice committee for Cancer Care. He has worked at the BC Cancer Agency since 2000 and has been doing skin lesion assessment clinics since 2011. In 2012 he received a Masters of Medicine degree in Family Practice Skin Cancer from the University of Queensland in Brisbane. He is a past chair of the Canadian Association of GP’s in Oncology and the BC Cancer Agency Ethics committee. He has been on multiple organizing committees for medical meetings and workshops, and has presented provincially and nationally on many occasions.
