Guelph and playing on the Varsity Gryphons Golf Team, Dr. Jim Corbett graduated Suma Cum Laude from the National College of Chiropractic in 1999. It was there, in Lombard, Illinois, he met his amazing partner, Kathleen Nazar. Jim was born and raised in Burlington and is proud to be part of this thriving community. It was an easy decision to raise a family and open a Chiropractic practice here. Jim and Kathleen have two amazing daughters, Abby and Stella. As a family, they enjoy all kinds of activities and hobbies, including sports, fitness, and travel. Award Winning Chiropractic Care Dr. Jim has a passion for educating patients and takes the time to get to the root of the problem, ensuring each patient feels heard. He then develops a specific treatment plan to help. Jim uses diversified techniques in the practice of chiropractic, including hands-on manual adjusting, soft tissue therapy, and Graston Technique®. In 2015, Jim was honoured with the Patient Care Award from the Ontario Chiropractic Association for providing exceptional outstanding care to patients and collaborating with other health care professionals. Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board Jim has been actively involved with the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board for more than ten years. He became an Assistant Trainer in 2019 and then moved into the role as Chief Training Officer shortly thereafter. This organization ensures that all chiropractic student candidates have the necessary skills to become licensed Chiropractors across Canada. Playing golf, hockey (with the Burlington Oldtimers Hockey Club), cycling and weight training have contributed to his interest in helping athletes maximize their performance.
